Welcome to Bishnoi Village Safari. These terms explain what you can expect when you book a tour, safari, homestay, or activity with us, and what we expect from you in return. Please read them before making a booking.

By booking any tour or service with us — through our website, phone, WhatsApp, or in person — you agree to these terms.

About Us

Bishnoi Village Safari is a Jodhpur-based tour operator with several years of experience running village safaris and ecotourism experiences around Salawas and the Guda Bishnoi area. We offer camel safaris, village safaris, art & craft tours, cooking classes with heena, and homestay accommodation.

Bookings and Enquiries

• Bookings can be made by phone, WhatsApp, email, or by filling out the enquiry form on our website.
• A booking is only confirmed once our team has personally confirmed the date, timing, and pickup details with you, whether by phone or WhatsApp.
• We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak tourist season, to make sure your preferred date and time are available.
• Tour prices, timings, and inclusions may change depending on the season, group size, and the specific package you choose. We’ll always confirm the final price with you before your tour begins.

Payments

• Payment terms (advance amount, if any, and mode of payment) will be shared with you directly by our team at the time of booking.
• Please keep proof of any payment made until your tour is completed.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

• If you need to cancel or reschedule your tour, please inform us as early as possible by phone or WhatsApp.
• Cancellation and refund terms may depend on how much notice you give us and the type of tour booked. We’ll always try to be fair and reasonable, and specific terms will be confirmed with you at the time of booking.
• We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a tour due to reasons beyond our control, such as bad weather, safety concerns, or local restrictions. In such cases, we will offer an alternative date or discuss a suitable solution with you.

During the Tour

• Please arrive on time for pickup, as delays may shorten your tour experience.
• Our safaris and village visits involve walking on uneven, natural terrain, being close to animals such as camels, goats, and sheep, and spending time outdoors in desert conditions. Please dress appropriately and inform us in advance of any health conditions, allergies, or mobility concerns.
• Children are welcome, but please keep them supervised at all times, especially around animals, water bodies, and vehicles.
• We ask all guests to be respectful of the local Bishnoi families and communities you visit. Please follow the guidance of your guide, especially around wildlife and sacred trees, which are treated with great respect by the Bishnoi community.

Homestay Guests

• Homestay bookings are subject to room availability at the time of confirmation.
• Guests are expected to treat the homestay property, host family, and other guests with courtesy and respect.
• Any damage caused to property during your stay may be charged to you.

Photography

• You’re welcome to take photos and videos during your tour for personal use. Please ask before photographing local families up close, out of respect for their privacy.
• We may take photographs during tours for our own marketing and social media, such as our website gallery or Instagram page. If you’d prefer not to appear in these, please let your guide know.

Our Responsibility

• We do our best to make sure every tour is safe, well-organised, and true to what is described on our website.
• However, activities like camel safaris and village walks carry some natural risk, and guests take part at their own discretion. We are not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to belongings that happens due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.
• We strongly recommend guests arrange their own travel insurance before visiting.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services. The latest version will always be available on this page.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
